Fundamentals of Aging Microcredentials

The three courses in this micro-credential are designed to dispel many of the myths and stereotypes associated with aging and the aged in contemporary society and to strengthen students’ understanding of the needs of the aged person. The primary focus will be on the latter half of the life cycle with emphasis placed on the socioemotional processes accompanying aging in our society. Issues of death and dying will be specifically addressed. A multidisciplinary approach will be followed throughout.
