Transferring to a new college is an important step toward your educational goals. SUNY Niagara’s Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) welcomes transfer applicants who were previously enrolled in EOP or the Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP) at another college.
Through personalized counseling, academic support, and connections to campus resources, we help students navigate their transition to SUNY Niagara and continue working toward graduation.
Students previously enrolled in EOP or HEOP at another college may be considered for admission to SUNY Niagara’s EOP. Contact our office to discuss your prior program participation and the information needed to review your request.
Admission to SUNY Niagara does not automatically confirm admission to EOP. Please connect with the EOP office during your application process.
Complete your application for admission through the Online Application link on SUNY Niagara’s EOP webpage.
Email Taylor Bowers, Director of EOP, at tbowers@niagaracc.suny.edu to express your interest in transferring into the program.
Include your full name, the college you are transferring from, and whether you participated in EOP or HEOP.
Our office will provide guidance on the information and verification needed to review your previous program participation. Stay in contact with your current or former opportunity program office to help coordinate any requested documentation.
Students transferring into SUNY Niagara’s EOP from an EOP or HEOP program are exempt from the mandatory Summer Academy because they have already participated in an opportunity program at another college.
We are here to help you understand your next steps and prepare for your transition to SUNY Niagara.
