Student Email FAQs

For security reasons you must change your password. Your password is something that you & only you, not even an account administrator, should know. This is your college provided email account and should not be shared with anyone. The college will be sending important information to your account which is intended only for you.

Your email address is your first name initial, your last name, a three digit random number followed by @mynccc.niagaracc.suny.edu.

If you have forgotten this information, then you can use the T-Wolves Email Assistance page to receive it.

You can access your email from any computer in the world that has Internet access, using any current Web browser or the Gmail app.

You can use any current browser, including Firefox, Safari, and Google Chrome, to access your e-mail.

Yes. To configure your college email to another address first log into your account. After you are logged in follow these directions: click on the gear in the upper right hand corner of your screen > click on mail settings > click on Forwarding and POP/IMAP > Add a forwarding address > add the address you wish to forward to.

But you are advised to not be complicit in neglecting remembering your login credentials, as those are used to log into other College issued accounts.

OIT does not explicitly recommend 3rd party email apps, because we cannot verify the stability, integrity, or security of them, & does not support them. However, we can say that any email app that is Google or Gmail compatible should work with T-wolves email, as long as you specify the email type as such, & it allows for the College’s single sign-on prompt to validate access to your email. No other configuration information is necessary.

If you are having password issues and need your password reset, then please contact T-Wolves Assistance by calling 716-210-2505, sending an email to TWolvesAssistance@niagaracc.suny.edu or stopping by our office in A-131.

Our normal hours of operation are M-F 8:00-5:00. From mid May to late July, summer hours are in effect, during which our office & the rest of the College is officially closed on Fridays.

All students who have been accepted into the College have a college provided email account.

There is currently no schedule for any regularly planned outages. If there is ever any unexpected necessary maintenance that requires taking the login page offline, then OIT will do its best to schedule such maintenance at the least inconvenient time for users.
