Next @ SUNY Niagara

NEXT @ SUNY Niagara is an optional pre-semester drop-in event created for new students who want to take care of important tasks before classes begin. Whether you need to walk your schedule, find your classrooms, pick up your Student ID, visit the bookstore, submit important paperwork, or connect with campus offices, NEXT provides a relaxed, welcoming opportunity to get everything you need before your first day.

NFCI Orientation

All new NFCI students are required to attend Fall Orientation. This interactive experience will help prepare you for a successful start at NFCI.

During orientation, you will meet your chef instructors, classmates, and support staff; tour the facility, kitchens, and labs; review important program expectations and safety procedures; pick up your knife or baking kit; and learn about the resources available to support your success.

Orientation is an important part of your transition to NFCI and will ensure you are prepared for your first day of classes. We look forward to welcoming you to the NFCI community and helping you begin your culinary journey with confidence!

Online Orientation

Online Orientation is designed to help new students become familiar with SUNY Niagara before the semester begins. Complete it at your own pace and learn about the people, resources, services, and opportunities available to support your success.

What You’ll Learn

During Online Orientation, you will:

  • Learn how to navigate campus resources and student services
  • Explore academic expectations and support
  • Discover ways to get involved and connect with the SUNY Niagara community
  • Review important information about financial aid, campus safety, technology, and student responsibilities
  • Find answers to common questions before your first day

Online Orientation can be completed from any computer, tablet, or mobile device. You may pause and return whenever it is convenient for you.
