Program Overview

Are you interested in becoming a Notary Public but don’t know where to start? This class is a must. You will learn about the authority, duties, and responsibilities of a NYS Notary. Procedures, laws, and concepts will be reviewed in preparation for the NYS Notary Public Exam.
Notary Public Review Workshop

Topics included in this course: using a notary journal, avoiding conflicts of interest, and maintaining professional ethics as a notary. Allowable fees to charge, how to handle special situations, when to defer to an attorney, and how to minimize your legal liability will also be covered.

*All materials will be provided including a 68-page workbook, website links to NYS Department of State Licensing information, 80-question practice exam and glossary.
