Part Time Business Instructor

General Description:

SUNY Niagara has a need for part time instructors to teach various business courses within the Business & STEM division.

The Business Instructor is responsible for teaching undergraduate-level courses in various business disciplines, which may include supply chain, management, advertising, finance, contracts, sales and marketing, human resources (HR), and organizational management. The instructor will prepare students for success in the dynamic business field by fostering a supportive learning environment, engaging students with diverse learning strategies, and maintaining high academic standards.

The Instructor will provide leadership, engagement, and discipline expertise. Demonstrate commitment to student success through teaching and learning excellence.

Remuneration for persons teaching at least 3 credits in a semester: $960 per lecture hour.

Required Qualifications:

– Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Management, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, or a closely related discipline.
– One (1) year of full-time (or part time equivalent) teaching experience at the post-secondary level.
– Strong knowledge of business principles, current industry practices, and practical application in one or more of the specified subject areas.
