Faculty, staff, students, alumni, and members of the college community are encouraged to nominate an eligible graduating student. There is no minimum GPA requirement; however, academic achievement is considered as part of the selection process. The selected recipient may also be invited to serve as the student speaker at Commencement and will receive professional speech-writing and public-speaking support in preparation for this honor. Nominees will be contacted by the Center for Student Engagement & Leadership Innovation to provide additional information about their experiences and accomplishments.
