New/Freshman
A freshman is a new student with no prior college experience in a credit-bearing program.
To apply, submit the online application along with official high school transcripts or a high school equivalency/TASC certificate.
Once received, your application will be processed, and you’ll be notified of your acceptance status.
Home Schooled
New York law requires colleges to admit only students with a high school diploma or equivalent. To meet this requirement, SUNY has established specific admissions guidelines for home-schooled students.
Non-Matriculated
This is for students not enrolled in a degree or certificate program. No financial aid is available for non-matriculated students.
NYS High School Equivalency
Students interested in pursuing a certificate or degree but have not completed their high school requirements may enter our High School Equivalency program.
