SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence Nomination

Help recognize one of SUNY Niagara’s most outstanding students. The SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence (CASE) is the highest student honor presented by the State University of New York. This award recognizes students who have demonstrated exceptional achievement both inside and outside the classroom. Faculty and staff are invited to nominate students they believe exemplify academic excellence, leadership, service, and meaningful contributions to the SUNY Niagara community. Submitting a nomination does not guarantee selection. A campus committee will review all nominations and selected nominees will be invited to submit additional supporting materials.

Step 1 of 4 – Nominator

Please review the eligibility requirements before submitting your nomination. Nominees must: Graduate between June 2026 and May 2027 Demonstrate outstanding academic achievement Demonstrate excellence in at least three of the following areas: Academics Leadership Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Justice Campus Involvement, Civic Engagement & Service Research & Development Creative or Performing Arts Have completed the achievements listed while enrolled at SUNY Niagara Examples may include: Leadership positions Student Government Clubs and organizations Athletics Research Volunteer service Advocacy Military service Employment or teaching experiences Creative accomplishments
