General Description:
Niagara County Community College has a need for a part time Music Instructor for our Piano Musicianship course.
This course is taught in person in a classroom setting on our Sanborn, NY campus. Class instruction for beginning keyboard music majors designed to teach the concepts and fundamentals needed to perform at the piano. Content is focused on improving keyboard skills through sight-reading, scales, arpeggiations, harmonization’s, accompanying, and improvising. Proper piano technique, and posture will be addressed as well as appropriate literature for successful placement into a baccalaureate music program.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree
- Three (3) years of experience teaching piano at high school or college level
