Lead Teacher (Grant Funded)

General Description:

Suny Niagara’s Child Development Center is seeking a part-time grant-funded Lead Teacher.

This position will be for a maximum of 30 hours per week for approximately 30 weeks, Monday through Friday. This is a 10-month position from late August through mid-May. Reliable transportation to and from work is an expectation.

In order to build and maintain an active pool of qualified candidates to meet our present and future needs for this position, Suny Niagara will accept applications on a continuous basis. Openings may or may not exist at this time. Applications are evaluated on an as-needed basis, and candidates will be contacted when the department has an opening. Candidates who submit their information may or may not be notified as to the status of their application.

Required Qualifications:

• Associates Degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or related field;
  OR
  CDA or similar credential and one year experience related to caring for children
  OR
  9 college credits in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related field with a plan of study leading to a CDA or Associate’s Degree and two years of experience related to caring for children.
