Moesha joined the Academic Center for Excellence (ACE) as a Student Tutor at SUNY Niagara in Fall 2026 while completing her Associate’s degree in Biology on a pre-medical track. After earning a 4.0 in her science coursework, she continues to build on her academic journey while preparing for a career in medicine. As an ACE tutor, Moesha supports students in in biology and chemistry and enjoys helping students develop the confidence and study strategies they need to succeed. Before beginning her studies at SUNY Niagara, Moesha earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Marketing. Her transition into the sciences reflects her determination to pursue a career in medicine and her passion for learning. She is particularly interested in the human body, neuroscience, and the ways science can be applied to improve patient care. Outside of academics, she has gained experience through clinical, research, and shadowing opportunities, further strengthening her interest in medicine. Moesha is also very involved in the SUNY Niagara community. She served as the Secretary of Phi Theta Kappa, Senator in Student Government Association, Membership Director for the Science Club, and a student representative on the JEDI Committee. She has also been recognized through the President’s List and Honor Institute. What Moesha enjoys most about tutoring is being able to help students realize that struggling with a subject does not mean they are incapable of succeeding. She believes that success can come from daily practice, deep ambition, and relentless drive rather than only innate talent. Having been a SUNY Niagara student herself, she understands the challenges that can come with difficult courses and believes that the right support, patience, and encouragement can make a significant difference. She takes pride in creating a welcoming environment where students can ask questions, work through challenging concepts, and leave feeling more confident than when they arrived. Outside of school and tutoring, Moesha enjoys spending time baking, volunteering, traveling and exploring new places, and staying involved in her community. She looks forward to continuing to grow academically and professionally while helping other SUNY Niagara students along the way
