Lynn has extensive experience at SUNY Niagara teaching writing as a member of the English Department and as a professional tutor in ACE. She has also taught and tutored at the University of Miami, Niagara University, and Miami-Dade College. She holds a B.A. in Theatre from Florida Atlantic University and an M.A. in English from Florida State University. In 2017, she received the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Adjunct Teaching. She believes the best thing about teaching writing is that every set of papers offers something new and interesting. She hopes to show students that writing is nothing to be afraid of, that it offers many benefits to the writer, and that it can actually be enjoyable—even proofreading can be fun.
