La Patisserie
Tuesday – Saturday, 8am – 4pm (until August 22nd)
La Patisserie is a French-inspired pastry shop featuring fresh-made pastries, breakfast treats, desserts and chocolates created right here at NFCI by our pastry chefs and students. You can also grab a specialty coffee drink or tea. The goal of this casual eat-in or take-out operation is to simulate a retail bakery that offers a variety of European sweets and breakfast sandwiches from bite-sized desserts to homemade gelato.
La Patisserie provides a hands-on real-world learning environment for the students of the NFCI Pastry Arts curriculum. This outlet allows pastry students to hone their skills and understand the retail business model in a βrealβ working pastry shop.The Pastry Production Experience classes β PAS 205 and PAS 207 β give students a chance to work in the high-volume retail sales environment of a free-standing pastry shop
