THE 2025–26 FAFSA®
For students who plan to attend SUNY Niagara between July 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) must be filled out to see what federal funds are available to you. This free application will take most people 30 minutes to fill out, including gathering any personal documents and financial information needed to complete it.
Any student, regardless of income, who wants to be considered for federal, state, and school financial aid programs must fill out a FAFSA. This includes grants, scholarships, work-study funds, and loans.
Remember, the student needs to complete a FAFSA form every year they are enrolled in school to receive federal student aid.
Please refer to the links on the left-hand side of the page to assist you in completing this application.
