Kay B. holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Houghton University and a Master of Science in Mathematics from SUNY Buffalo State University. She has been teaching and tutoring mathematics for the past 59 years. Kay enjoys working with students and seeing mathematics through their perspectives. She appreciates that there are often multiple ways to approach a math problem and finds it rewarding when students introduce her to new methods and ways of thinking. Outside of teaching, Kay's greatest joy is spending time with her family, including her four children and four grandchildren. One of her favorite family traditions is taking an annual vacation together with all twelve family members.
