Success Coach – Student Success Services

SUNY Niagara is seeking a Student Success Services Success Coach to join our Student Services Division. This position provides an exciting opportunity for a student-focused professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students by serving as a trusted resource, advocate, and guide throughout their college journey.

The Success Coach will work directly with an assigned cohort of students, building supportive relationships while helping students navigate academic, personal, and institutional challenges. The successful candidate will take a proactive approach to student success—identifying students who may be struggling, connecting them with appropriate resources, monitoring their progress, and helping them develop the skills and strategies necessary to persist and graduate.

The primary office for this position will be located at the Sanborn Campus, with responsibilities that may include collaboration across the College and engagement with students in a variety of settings.

Required Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Counseling or a Bachelor’s Degree and the equivalent of four months (one semester) full-time experience working in an educational environment;
– Demonstrable effective written communication skills;
– Experience interacting with a diverse population.
