Professional Tutor Leslie Orzetti is a seasoned science educator with more than 25 years of teaching experience and a passion for helping students achieve their academic goals. She earned her Ph.D. in Environmental Science and Policy from George Mason University and holds both a B.S. and M.S. in Biology from the University of Dayton. Leslie believes that every student has the potential to succeed when provided with the right guidance, effective learning strategies, and a supportive environment. Her student-centered approach emphasizes building confidence while developing a strong understanding of scientific concepts. She tutors a wide range of college-level science courses, including General Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology, Current Environmental Topics, Ecology, Ornithology, and Mammalogy. In addition to tutoring, Leslie serves as an adjunct instructor at SUNY Niagara and Niagara University, where she teaches courses ranging from Human Biology and Anatomy & Physiology to Environmental Thought. Outside the classroom and ACE, Leslie enjoys spending time with her family, practicing Taekwondo, and exploring the outdoors. Whether she's walking local trails, hiking, or enjoying the waterways of Western New York, she appreciates every opportunity to connect with nature.
