Coordinator of the Academic Center for Excellence (ACE) Madison Ebsary is the Coordinator of the Academic Center for Excellence (ACE), which means she spends her days helping students find the academic support they need and her nights wondering if one more spreadsheet could solve higher education. As a proud SUNY Niagara alumna, Madison knows firsthand that college can be exciting, overwhelming, rewarding, and occasionally a little chaotic. That's why she's passionate about making ACE a place where every student feels comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and finding the support they need—whether that's tutoring, academic coaching, a quiet place to study, or simply someone to help them figure out their next step. If you've interacted with ACE through tutoring, workshops, study events, or campus outreach, you've experienced the work of an incredible team that Madison is endlessly proud to be a part of. She'll be the first to tell you that ACE's greatest strength isn't its programs or services—it's its people. From student tutors to professional staff, the team shares one goal: helping every student feel welcomed, supported, and capable of succeeding. When she's not helping students, Madison can usually be found: Saying, "I have an idea..." Buying organizers to organize the organizers. Turning a five-minute conversation into a pilot program. Convincing people that tutoring statistics are actually fascinating. Making color-coded spreadsheets that absolutely did not need to be color-coded. Rewatching Parks and Recreation and quietly aspiring to lead with a little Leslie Knope enthusiasm. Despite the occasional chaos, Madison's mission is simple: to make college feel a little less overwhelming. She believes every challenge has a strategy and that most problems can be solved with enough collaboration, coffee, and whiteboard markers. If there's one thing Madison hopes students remember, it's that asking for help is a strength, not a weakness. College isn't meant to be figured out alone, and ACE is here to help every step of the way. If you stop by ACE, she'll happily help you connect with a tutor, develop a study plan, celebrate your successes, and—if you're not careful—ask for your opinion on a new initiative before you leave.
