SUNY Niagara Housing COVID-19 Policy

• COVID vaccination is no longer mandatory for students. However, we encourage students to stay up to date on their vaccination and boosters consistent with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations.
• Students enrolled in any program or course or who are participating in a clinical or internship held at a third-party location must continue to comply with all health and safety guidelines, including any vaccination, testing protocols, or masking requirements that are in place at the third-party location.
• SUNY recommends that students stay home if they feel unwell, and follow CDC guidelines if they test positive for COVID. Testing is recommended for people with symptoms of COVID as soon as possible after symptoms begin. Students who test positive are encouraged to remain off campus. Students who reside in housing may remain in their room just as with the flu, strep throat or other illness. Students should wear masks and maintain social distance per CDC recommendations to prevent the spread of illnesses.
• SUNY and SUNY Niagara will continuously examine COVID data and update policies as needed based on local conditions or in response to requirements imposed by federal, state, or local authorities. Please monitor your college email for updated information as it becomes available.
