   What Looks Professional (Modern + Budget-Friendly)

    Tops

• Solid button-down, clean blouse, polo, knit top, or simple sweater
• No large logos, graphics, or slogans

    Bottoms

• Chinos or dress-style casual pants
• Dark, non-ripped jeans (paired with a nice top)
• Knee-length or longer skirt
• Wrinkle-free and comfortable fit

    Shoes

• Clean, solid-color sneakers
• Loafers, flats, simple boots, or dress shoes
• Clean and neat (no flip-flops or athletic runners)

    Layers (Optional)

• Casual blazer or cardigan

    Avoid

• Graphic tees, hoodies, sweatpants, athletic shorts
• Ripped or overly distressed clothing
• Baseball caps

    Tip: Clean, simple, and intentional beats over the top or sloppy every time.

    RAD Tech Fair 

• Venue: SUNY Niagara – Dining Commons, Building G (2nd Floor)
• Address: 3111 Saunders Settlement Road, Sanborn, NY 14132
• Parking: Please park in Lot 5 – Visitor Parking. Event signs will be placed throughout campus to guide you to parking and the event location.

    NFCI Career Fair 

• Venue: Niagara Falls Culinary Institute
• Address: 28 Old Falls St., Niagara Falls, NY 14303
• Parking: Complimentary parking is available at the First Street parking garage.
• Important: Take a ticket upon entry, drive to the third level, and park to the left toward the Culinary Institute. 

Bring your parking ticket inside for validation at the front desk.

•  Check-in: Take the elevator to the first floor to check in at the Culinary Institute desk.

• Practice a short “elevator pitch” (about 30 seconds) that includes your name, program of study, career interests, and what you’re hoping to learn or pursue. Keep it simple and natural, you don’t need to sound rehearsed.
• Students can get help creating or practicing their pitch with Kate Murphy, Career and Transfer Coordinator, in the Student Success Center.

• Bring multiple copies of your resume (Student Success Center can print for you). Make sure it’s up to date, clearly formatted, and highlights relevant skills, coursework, or work experience.

• Instead of asking “What does your company do?”, try questions like:
  • What entry-level roles do you hire for?
  • What skills do you look for in new hires?
  • What advice would you give a student in my program?
