Official Transcripts
Official transcripts may be ordered securely online 24 hours/7 days a week through Parchment. You do not need your student ID number to order through Parchment. If you select the option to send the transcript electronically, it can be sent within minutes! You can also choose to have the transcript mailed to any location, including a FedEx overnight option. Additionally, you may sign up for text/email notifications that allow you to track your transcript order.
Please click the “Order Official Transcripts” button below to start your order. You will need to provide your Social Security Number, telephone number, payment method in addition to other information requested on the transcript order form.
Please note: A transcript request will not be processed if there are holds related to delinquent materials or equipment owed to the college.
There are two options for ordering an official transcript:
- If you do not know your Banner username and password, click the “Order Official Transcripts” button below.
- If you know your Banner user ID and PIN, Log in to Banner Web to order. Click on “Student Records”, then “Academic Transcript – Order Official”
Support for online ordering is available at 1-847-716-3005.
Once you have placed your order online, your official transcript will be processed on the next business day. Transcript records prior to Fall 1985 may take 3-5 days to process.
- To begin an order, click on the yellow “Order Official Transcripts” button below.
- You will be routed to the Parchment site, where you will enter your email address to create an account. If you already have an account, you will need to log in. Click “Continue” after entering either a school or personal email address.
- If you are creating a new account, you will be asked to enter personal and contact information. Please fill in all the required information and create a password. Once you have entered all information, click “Create Account & Continue”.
- A confirmation email will be sent to the email address used to create the account in order to validate the email address. Use the confirmation code in the email received on the “Account Confirmation” page. Enter the code and click “Submit”.
- Next, you will be asked to enter enrollment information. Answer the required fields. Your Student ID is NOT required. Click “Continue” once complete.
- Select from the available credentials what you would like to order. Options may include Transcript and Replacement Diploma.
- Sending Options:
- Sending to a college/university: If you are sending an official transcript to another institution for transfer, use the search option to find your college or university.  As you start typing the institution’s name, the search menu will populate with potential matches and show the detailed address where the transcripts would be sent.  Please note that transcripts are ONLY sent electronically if ordered this way.
- If you do not find a match, you can select “Enter your Own” at the bottom of the menu.
 
- Sending to Self, Job, or Another Individual: If you are sending the transcript to a specific individual, job, or yourself and have the mailing address or email address, you can select “I’m sending to myself or another individual”. KEEP IN MIND – If you select “MYSELF” as the recipient and open the envelope or PDF, the transcript will become UNOFFICIAL and unacceptable to the recipient.
 
- Sending to a college/university: If you are sending an official transcript to another institution for transfer, use the search option to find your college or university.  As you start typing the institution’s name, the search menu will populate with potential matches and show the detailed address where the transcripts would be sent.  Please note that transcripts are ONLY sent electronically if ordered this way.
- Delivery Options:  
- Electronic – Delivered by Email (Default option)
- Print & Mailed (paper copy)
- Local Pickup (in-person pickup from SUNY Niagara office)
 
- Once you have selected your delivery option and filled out all appropriate information, click “Continue” and it will load the “Item Details” page. Review the information for the recipient and delivery at the top.
- Under Item Details, select the appropriate answers to the “Purpose” and “When do you want this sent” fields. You can choose to have a transcript sent now, held for final grades, held for High School CAP courses, or held for degree.
- Under Item Details, you will be asked to provide your Student ID number. If you do not know your Student ID, you will then be asked to provide your social security number. This allows Parchment to find your records more easily in our system to process your request.
- Attachments can be included with your transcript. You can attach a copy of the document in the section “Add an Attachment File”. This is typically done with any forms that may need to accompany your transcript.
- In the final section, your electronic signature is required. Use your finger or mouse to sign. Type your full name in the boxes below your signature and click “Continue”.
- Your Order Summary will display. If you need to place an order for additional transcripts prior to payment, you can select “Add another item for (name)”. Then, click “Continue”.
- On the Payment Information page, enter your credit or debit card information and click “Submit Payment”.
- Once your payment has been submitted, you will receive an email confirmation. You can log into Parchment at anytime to track your orders under the “Orders” tab at the top of the page. Any previous orders will be displayed on the “Orders History” page.
The transcript fee charged by SUNY Niagara is $10.00 plus applicable sales tax per OFFICIAL transcript.
Attention: If you select “Myself” as the recipient and open the PDF, the transcript will become unofficial and unacceptable to the recipient.
Unofficial Transcripts
For students able to log in with T-Wolves Email username and password
Unofficial transcripts (copy without college seal) are available at no charge. Current and recently enrolled students can access Banner Web to view/print your unofficial transcript online.

For students unable to log into Banner Web
Current and former students who are unable to access their unofficial transcript online in Banner Web can complete the Unofficial Transcript Request Form to receive a copy of their UNOFFICIAL transcript at no charge. To complete the request form, you will need to create a Next Gen account by clicking on “Create New Account” on the Log in page.
- Please allow 1-2 business days for processing.
- For former students who attended before Fall 1985, processing time may take up to one business week.
- Unofficial transcripts cannot be emailed. They can be mailed, faxed, or picked-up in person (must show student ID).

- Contact Career & Transitional Services for assistance transferring from SUNY Niagara. Many factors should be considered when choosing a transfer college. Academic program is a primary consideration but cost, location, size and campus environment are also important.
