Innovating Together: Advancing Creativity and Professional Growth at SUNY Niagara

Thank you for your interest in attending the 2026 SUNY Niagara Professional Development Days. The Professional Development Committee schedules programs, which fulfill the following definition of Professional Development Days as defined in the Faculty Association Contract: “Time for faculty to participate in individual or group activities intended to improve instructional subject area or professional competencies and to provide opportunities for professional growth and renewal.”

Niagara University’s 19th Annual CCTL Conference on Teaching and Learning

As part of Professional Development Days on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 Interested SUNY Niagara faculty are eligible to attend this conference held at Niagara University.

Reimbursement: After you register and pay, please fill out date, description and total on the voucher form found under related content on the event page. Then sign and date and send with proof of registration/payment to your division dean.

Professional Development Days help support SUNY Niagara’s commitment to complying with Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) standards including:

  • MSCHE Standard II – Ethics and Integrity – Criterion II.2: “An accredited institution possesses and demonstrates…a climate that fosters respect among students, faculty, staff, and administration from a range of diverse backgrounds, ideas, and perspectives.”
  • MSCHE Standard III – Design and Delivery of the Student Learning Experience – Criterion III.2.d: “An accredited institution possesses and demonstrates the following attributes or activities…student learning experiences that are designed, delivered, and assessed by faculty (full-time or part-time) and/or other appropriate professionals who are…provided with and utilize sufficient opportunities, resources, and support for professional growth and innovation.”

Call For Proposals for 2026 Professional Development Days!

The Professional Development Committee has begun planning for Professional Development Days taking place January 12-14, 2026. Professional Development Days are an opportunity for the employees of SUNY Niagara to learn new skills, refine existing ones, gain knowledge in their fields, and connect with each other. Please consider sharing your expertise with the college community! Submit proposals by October 22nd using the following link:
