Welcome

First, call or visit the Child Development Center (D-118) to register for the CCAMPIS Village Grant. Next, contact a center from the list for possible available placement for your child/children. We will pay the child care fees for all of your age-eligible children while you are in classes or education-related activities

Our Mission

SUNY Niagara Child Development Center, consistent with the mission of the institution, provides high-quality early childhood education and care. The Center uses the best practices of child development to nurture the growth and learning of each child as an individual and member of the community. The Center works with families to build positive relationships and to support parenting skills and educational or career pursuits.

Christine Duquin

Director


Education:
Master’s Degree in K-5 Mathematics from Walden University.

Michelle Leffler

Assistant Director


Education:
Degree in Business Administration from Niagara University.

Madison Nedell

Acting Lead – Infants


Education:
Currently enrolled at SUNY Niagara studying Early Childhood Education.

Experience:
8-10 years of Babysitting experience
5 years working in her church infant room

Stacie Tchorznicki

Lead Teacher – Toddlers


Education:
Currently enrolled at Buffalo State working on Masters in Special Education, Minor in Applies Behavior Analysis. (B-6th).
Bachelor’s degree from Buffalo State College in Childhood Education Birth-6th and Special Education.

Experience:
5 years working with children in an Early Childcare setting
1 year YWCA Inclusion Specialist
1 year Substitute teacher at Starpoint CSD
1 year Substitute teacher at Wilson CSD

Brittany Bisher

Lead Teacher – Preschool


Education:
Currently enrolled at Buffalo State working on Masters in Education (B-6th).
Bachelors degree from Buffalo State in Education (B-6th).
Associates Degree in Liberal Arts with an Early Childhood Education Certificate from SUNY Niagara.

Experience:
8 years working with children in an Early Childcare setting.

Jessica Baker

Lead Teacher – Preschool


Education:
Early Childhood Education program from BOCES.
CDA Program from Niagara University.

Experience:
18 years working with children in an Early Childcare setting.

Lexi Leffler

Lead Teacher – School-age (Summer program)


Education:
Master’s degree from Niagara University in Literacy
Bachelors degree from Niagara University in Education Birth-6th
Associates degree from SUNY Niagara in Liberal Arts

Experience:
1 year in Kindergarten at Niagara Wheatfield CSD
1 year in 1st Grade at Niagara Wheatfield CSD
