ASAP Program

What is ASAP?

ASAP provides the support students need to complete their associate degrees on time. The program offers financial assistance for textbooks, groceries, transportation, and other costs, along with academic support, personalized advising, and career development services to help students stay on track.

Eligibility

Students are typically eligible for SUNY ASAP (Advancing Success in Associate Pathways) if they:

  • Receive at least $1 of Pell Grant or New York State aid (TAP or Excelsior)
  • Enroll full-time in an associate degree program (usually 12+ credits)
  • Qualify for in-state tuition or SUNY financial aid
  • Complete financial aid applications such as FAFSA and TAP
