Career & Technical Education (CTE)

A group of college students sits together at a wooden table in a lively campus common area. The central figure, a young man wearing a blue “SUNY Niagara” beanie and matching hoodie, smiles as he works on a silver MacBook. To his left, a stainless steel “SUNY Niagara” water bottle stands next to a student’s open notebook. Two other students—one in a yellow shirt and another partially visible figure with long blonde hair—lean in, engaged in the conversation. Behind them, more students walk and chat near a wall displaying the “SUNY Niagara” sign and modern glass-door entrance.

Advanced Credits for High School Students

SUNY Niagara has articulation agreements with several BOCES, ProStart (NYSRAEF) and area high schools for students to obtain advanced credits. These agreements allow students choosing to attend SUNY Niagara to waive one or more program specific courses upon matriculation. Most articulation agreements require an 85% average in the approved CTE program.
