General Description:
Are you passionate about technology and healthcare education? Do you want to play a key role in shaping the next generation of nurses? SUNY Niagara is seeking a tenure-track Nursing Simulation Technical Assistant to bring our Nursing Simulation Lab to life and help create high-quality, hands-on learning experiences for students in our LPN and RN programs.
As the Technical Assistant in the Simulation Lab, you’ll prepare, maintain, and operate our state-of-the-art high-fidelity simulators and educational technologies. You’ll work side-by-side with faculty to create realistic, immersive scenarios that allow students to build confidence and skills before stepping into real patient care.
What You’ll Do:
Set the stage for simulation learning by preparing, operating, and breaking down lab equipment.
Troubleshoot and maintain advanced simulation technologies to keep everything running smoothly.
Collaborate with nursing faculty to deliver realistic, engaging simulation experiences.
Ensure students and faculty are supported in using equipment and technology effectively.

Required Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Nursing
Current NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
Experience using software and systems associated with medical simulation
