Nursing Assistant Professor/LPN Coordinator

General Description:

SUNY Niagara has an amazing opportunity for a motivated and dynamic Registered Nurse interested in educating future nursing professionals who are enrolled in the College’s (LPN) Certificate and RN AAS programs.  We are seeking a full-time 10-month, (tenure track) Nursing Assistant Professor to join our Nursing, Physical & Allied Health division. Our Nursing programs provide clinical experiences in hospitals, nursing homes, and community-based facilities. Our labs provide hands-on experience with the newest technology and medical equipment in the field. We also have a simulation lab that will emulate real-life scenarios in our nursing programs.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and enrolled in a Master’s of Science in Nursing program
• Proof that one has completed all requirements for a Master’s of Science with a major in Nursing within 18 months of starting the position
• Current Registered Nurse license (RN);
• Nursing clinical experience or teaching experience in nursing within the last 5 years.
