Job Description:
Responsibilities:
– Prepare and cook meals according to the menu and dietary requirements
– Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards
– Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
– Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
– Assist with menu planning and catering events as needed
Experience:
– Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role
– Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
– Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
– Strong communication and teamwork skills
Skills:
– Meal preparation
– Dietary department experience
– Cooking skills
– Knowledge of kitchen operations and food service procedures
– Food preparation techniques
– Experience as a dietary aide or similar role is a plus
– Menu planning experience is a plus
– Catering experience is a plus
– Understanding of food safety guidelines and regulations
