Line Cook Needed-part time position
The North End Bar & Grill is seeking an experienced line cook to work in a fast-paced casual dining environment on a part time basis. Responsibilities:- Prepares all food items in accordance with menu outlined recipes
- Assists in creating new menu ideas
- Assists with the cleaning, organization, and sanitization of kitchen and equipment.
- Restocks items as needed throughout the shift.
- Adheres to all sanitation and food production requirement
- Assist with daily food service prep
- Performs other related duties as assigned by Manager
- Experience operating standard commercial kitchen equipment
- Excellent knife skills
- Ability to multitask and work in high paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work well independently and as a team member
- Ability to follow directions, give instructions to fellow team members and adhere to standard operating procedures
- Ability to left and carry up to 50lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods of time
- Familiarity with digital order processing via computerized monitoring system
