Job Title: Ground Crew
Department: Operations
Reports to: Terminal Manager

Responsibilities/Duties
Summer
● Take helicopters out of hangar
● Power wash and clean helicopter windows
● Prepare for flights to start at 9 am including:
● Opening – Unlock terminal, put out coolers, turn on lights, turn on TVs, raise flags
● Arrange customers for rides according to numbers
● Arrange customers for pictures
● Load customers safely through the front seat and back door
● Buckle customers and provide them with headsets
● Close gates
● Direct customers to photolab
● General cleaning and landscaping; terminal, washrooms, vacuuming, sweeping, hangar, grounds
● Take out garbage from terminal and hangar
● Closing – turn off terminal lights, turn off TVs, lock doors and set alarm
● Bring helicopters into the hanger

Winter
● Clean ALL windows – helicopter, inside terminal, hangar
● Shovel snow and spread salt
Health and safety responsibilities: Responsible for adhering to general health and safety regulations.

Education

Completed High School: x
Some High School: x

Experience
Customer service experience and an interest in aviation are not required but will be considered.
Training

Skills and Competencies
Technical: Hand signals for language code, read, speak and write English, basic math, light maintenance, operate a power washer and hydraulic system for moving helicopters
Behavioral: Customer service, communication, problem solving, concern for quality and standards, team player

Scheduled work week: open 7 days Shift rotation: ☒ Yes ☐ No
Variations to regular work week: 7:30 am – 9:30 pm – Various shifts depending on seasonality
