Job Description:

Join our dynamic team as a Food Truck Staff member, where you will play a vital role in delivering delicious food and exceptional service to our customers. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about food, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have a knack for sales. You will be responsible for food preparation, customer interaction, and ensuring that our food truck operates smoothly while adhering to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve high-quality food items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
Engage with customers to provide excellent service, including upselling menu items and promoting daily specials.
Operate the Aloha POS system for order processing and payment transactions efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food truck, including cooking areas, serving stations, and storage spaces.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain proper hygiene practices at all times.
Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management when stock is low.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Handle customer inquiries and feedback professionally to enhance the overall dining experience.
Qualifications

Previous experience in a culinary or food service environment is preferred but not required.
Strong understanding of food safety practices and basic math skills for handling transactions.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor that promotes customer engagement.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus for managing sales effectively.
Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
A passion for culinary arts and providing outstanding customer service is essential.
