Job Description:
We have openings for both full-time and part-time positions for Food Service Workers! We’re a 7 day a week operation and shifts begin as early as 6am and last until 8:30pm.
The Food Service Worker performs various assignments related to food, meal service and maintaining a sanitary work environment. These assignments can include: Receiving and Storage of department supplies, collection of menu choices via phone and in person, preparation of food items for retail and patient feeding operations. Delivery of meals/food items on campus; including patient rooms. Washing of pots, pans and dishes and completion of cleaning assignments.
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience
There are no specific education or experience requirements for appointment to this title; however, candidates must be able to speak and write English to be eligible for appointment and to perform the duties of this position.
Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate should have food service and customer service experience.
Salary range for this position is $36,748 – $41,328 yearly/$17.62 – $19.81 hourly which includes a comprehensive benefits package. The listed pay range reflects the range of potential compensation for this role. The actual offer may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
We are also hiring for a full time Food Service Supervisor in our Nutrition department. The Food Service Supervisor supervises the daily activities of all food service operations assuring compliance with all regulatory, institute and department policies.
The salary range for this position is $48,956 – $59,757 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package. The listed pay range reflects the range of potential compensation for this role. The actual offer may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience
1. Associate’s Degree or Certification in a related field and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience in food service operation and management training; or
2. High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in food service operation and management training.
Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate should have previous supervision, food service, and cash handling experience.
