About the Company:

The CDS Brands Culinary Associate’s core responsibility is to produce chocolate and gummy confectionery
products according to the recipes provided for the I am Goodness Brand of products.

Job Description:

Supervisory Responsibilities:
None

General Accountabilities
• Preparing fillings for chocolate bars.
• Produce filled chocolate bars using plastic molds and various pieces of automated chocolate-handling
and packaging equipment.
• Produce and package gummy candies using silicone molds and various pieces of confectionery
equipment.
• Maintain the confectionery equipment, ingredients, and supplies that are utilized throughout the operation
according to Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards.
• Appropriately handle and maintain confectionery raw materials, work in process, and finished goods.
Job Qualifications
Safe Quality Food (SQF) Responsibilities
• Complete all basic Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) training (FDA CFR 117) within the first week on the
job.
• Comply with the spirit and the directives of all GMPs every minute of every day on the job

Education:
• Required – High School Diploma or GED
• Desired – Culinary Arts Degree or Certificate – *Pastry Preferred *(or working towards).
Desired Experience:
• Work experience in any of the following jobs: candymaking, confectionery production, pastry and dessert
production, food production, restaurant kitchen cooking
• Hands–on experience working with chocolate and an understanding of the tempering process.
• Minimum 1 year experience in culinary/chocolate/pastry
• Must be authorized to travel internationally
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds at times
• While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to hear, speak, stand, walk,
climb balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and move for long periods of time in a physically demanding, fastpaced environment.
• The team member is frequently required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and
reach with hands and arms.
• Must wear required PPE while performing job duties
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
