Faculty and Administrator Participation
The college will host commencement on Saturday, May 17th, 2025 in the Main Gym on the Sanborn Campus of SUNY Niagara. There will be one ceremony this year, and it will begin at 10 a.m. Please complete one of the forms below to let us know if you plan to robe and participate by walking in the processional or serve as a volunteer. The deadline is Wednesday, May 2.
*Faculty and administrators who do not robe and walk in a ceremony or volunteer on Saturday, May 17th will be charged a vacation day.
Volunteers
Administrators and faculty members who would prefer not to robe may complete their contractual obligation by assisting during the ceremony. Duties include taking tickets, assisting with seating, and ushering the guests who will attend the ceremony. Assisting at the Commencement Ceremony not only helps the event run smoothly, but it also provides opportunities to interact with the graduates and congratulate them on their special day. Sign up by May 2 to volunteer. Any questions pertaining to faculty participation or volunteering may be directed to jmfaddoul@niagaracc.suny.edu.
Processional Line-up
We will be seating faculty and administrators on stage, and to do this we need to know exactly how many chairs to set on the stage. Faculty & administrators participating in the commencement ceremony are requested to arrive at the robing area by 9:00 a.m. To participate, sign up via this form.
Cap and Gown Rental
Caps and gowns for faculty may be rented through the bookstore on campus. The deadline to order is April 17, 2025.
