General Description:
As Dean, you will report to the Vice President of Academic Affairs and provide strategic, academic, and operational leadership for the Business and STEM division. Youâll guide a diverse and dedicated team while helping SUNY Niagara remain at the forefront of preparing students for high-demand careers in business, computer science, engineering, technology, and more.

- Championing student-centered, high-impact programs that meet the fast-changing needs of business and STEM industries.
- Driving innovation in teaching and learning through faculty support, curriculum enhancement, and academic excellence.
- Fostering collaborative partnerships with employers, Kâ12 schools, transfer institutions, and community stakeholders.
- Leading program assessment and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards to maintain program quality and accountability.
- Cultivating a culture of continuous improvement, equity, and inclusive excellence across all departments within the division.

Required Qualifications:
- Masterâs degree in Higher Education Administration, Business, Technology, or a related program of the Business &Â STEMÂ division;
- Experience in an administrative role in a higher education institution, including exercising budgetary responsibilities as well as monitoring or conducting staff and faculty recruitment, hiring, andsupervision;
- Experience withcurriculum development and assessment;
- Experience with development and/or review of accreditation self-studies, program reviews, and/or responses to site visits; experience inconducting faculty orientations, evaluations, and classroom observations; and experience with mentoring faculty.
