Assistant Director of Facilities for Custodial Services and Grounds

General Description:

SUNY Niagara is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director of Facilities for Custodial Services and Grounds to lead and manage the custodial services and grounds operations at our Sanborn campus and Niagara Falls Culinary Institute. This role provides critical leadership, planning, and day-to-day direction and supervision for custodial, cleaning, and grounds operations to ensure that all campus facilities and outdoor areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and appearance. The Assistant Director will oversee operations across all shifts to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

SUNY Niagara consists of two campuses one located in Sanborn, NY and our Niagara Falls Culinary Institute located in downtown Niagara Falls. These two campuses consist of over 500,000 square feet of space and over 200 acres of property.

Required Qualifications:

• Associates degree; 3 years of supervisory experience in a field related to the care and maintenance and or custodial services of a facility; experience with Microsoft Office programs and Internet/Web; experience assisting with the preparation, implementation and monitoring of a department level budget.
