Why Volunteer for the 2025 tax filing season?

Help your Neighbors

• You can help taxpayers in your community claim the tax credits they are eligible for, allowing them to keep more of what they have earned.

Flexible Hours

• The VITA program provides services from mid-to-late January through mid-April, volunteers serve an average of 3-5 hours per week.

No Prior Experience Needed

• We welcome people from all backgrounds, ages and experience levels to better accommodate the diverse needs of those served.

Free Training and Materials

• Volunteers receive free specialized tax law training & materials to become IRS-certified and able to serve in a variety of roles.

Help with tax preparation – Or- Receptions – Or- Clerical – Or- Interpreter/Translation
