Health System Services provides home medical equipment services and patient care coordination / discharge services include respiratory therapy (CPAP and home oxygen) and home medical equipment, home modifications (stairlifts, walk-in tubs, ramps, lift chair recliners) mobility (scooters and walkers), and disease management for those with chronic and progressive diseases.
PAY: $18.00-$24.00
About the Position
– Assist in corporate purchasing by developing a thorough understanding of purchasing policies, procurement protocols, and procurement software to ensure seamless ordering processes.
– Manage inventory levels across multiple branches by monitoring stock, maintaining appropriate par levels, and analyzing inventory needs to determine if adjustments are necessary.
– Confirm receipt of purchase orders and packing slips, ensuring accurate documentation and data entry within our inventory management database.
– Maintain the inventory management database to uphold 100% inventory accuracy across all branches, proactively addressing any discrepancies.
– Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to circumvent back orders by finding substitute items.
– Assist in evaluating supplier performance based on quality, reliability, and responsiveness to ensure optimal vendor relationships.
– Support the implementation of procurement strategies and initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and reducing costs within the HSS procurement function.
– Provide administrative support to the purchasing team, including data entry, filing, and generating reports as needed.

Qualifications for Success
– High School Diploma or GED required.
– Experience in supply chain management, procurement, or inventory management is strongly preferred.
– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is highly desirable.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal stakeholders.
– Experience with inventory management software or demonstrated ability to learn software quickly.
– Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
– A desire to continuously learn and grow within the role, along with a commitment to being a proactive team player.
