CADD Operator

Lockport Facility houses the Engineering Department, and the facility produces precast units used in a wide variety of construction projects.

*Employer willing to be flexible (within reason) with full time hours if finishing school/degree, but looking for individuals with this career goal.

Pay: Based on Experience, starting rate not lower than $18.15/hr

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1) Prepare technical drawings and plans which are used by supervisors, production managers and shop floor workers.
2) Drawings include technical details and specify dimensions, materials, and procedures.
3) Fill in technical details using drawings, rough sketches, specifications, and calculations made by engineers, surveyors, architects, or others.
4) May apply knowledge of standardized building techniques to draw in the details of structures.
5) May use understanding of engineering and manufacturing theory and standards to draw product, machine, tool, or mold, etc.
6) May use technical handbooks, tables, calculators, and computers to complete work.
7) May use Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) systems to prepare drawings.
8) Possess knowledge of traditional drafting techniques in order to fully understand and explain concepts.
