The North End Bar & Grill is seeking an experienced line cook to work in a fast-paced casual dining environment on a part time basis.

Line Cook Needed-part time position

The North End Bar & Grill is seeking an experienced line cook to work in a fast-paced casual dining environment on a part time basis. Responsibilities:
  • Prepares all food items in accordance with menu outlined recipes
  • Assists in creating new menu ideas
  • Assists with the cleaning, organization, and sanitization of kitchen and equipment.
  • Restocks items as needed throughout the shift.
  • Adheres to all sanitation and food production requirement
  • Assist with daily food service prep
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by Manager
Skills and/or abilities:
  • Experience operating standard commercial kitchen equipment
  • Excellent knife skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in high paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work well independently and as a team member
  • Ability to follow directions, give instructions to fellow team members and adhere to standard operating procedures
  • Ability to left and carry up to 50lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods of time
  • Familiarity with digital order processing via computerized monitoring system
