Future Leaders – Liberty Partnerships Program

Liberty Partnerships Program at SUNY Niagara

Empowering Students for Success

SUNY Niagara is home to one of fifty-one highly successful Liberty programs throughout New York State, serving over 500 students in the four largest school districts in Niagara County. Through individualized programming, we support students’ academic, personal, and social-emotional success in middle and high school. Liberty is dedicated to ensuring that every student graduates with a strong sense of identity and a clear path forward.

Preparing Students for Success

The Future Leaders program offers students a variety of enriching experiences that foster growth and development. Participants engage in goal setting, community engagement activities, self-awareness building, college visits, career and college planning seminars, soft skills development workshops, service learning events, summer camps, and wellness activities. These opportunities are designed to equip students with the tools and confidence they need to succeed beyond high school.

A No-Cost Opportunity for Student Success

Fully funded by the New York State Education Department, the program is completely free for students and families. At Future Leaders, we are deeply invested in student success and strive to improve high school graduation rates by increasing school engagement. Through strong, positive relationships and meaningful learning experiences, we empower students to realize their potential and become future leaders in their communities.
