College Acceleration Program

The College Acceleration Program (CAP) offers SUNY Niagara classes to students at several high schools. CAP is a great option for those who want to start working toward a college degree early. CAP’s tuition is discounted, too. It costs $87 per credit for 2025-2026, so a typical three-credit course costs $261.

  • Show college admissions officers the seriousness of junior and senior years in high school.
  • Get used to college-level coursework.

  • Lighten your course load as a college freshman, relieving some of the stress of that transition.
  • Take college courses in a familiar setting.

For the 2025–2026 academic year, the tuition rate will be $87 per credit hour. Accordingly, a 3‑credit course will cost $261.

  • Payment due date:  November 6, 2025
  • *Please refer to the information sheet distributed by your high school for deadlines & registration information.
  • Students will be billed and must make payment by the payment due date in order to receive college credit.

The above link is to make payments for Spring 2026 registered classes ONLY. If you need to make a payment for a CAP course that you registered for in Fall 2025, please contact the Cashier’s Office directly at 716-614-6443 to ensure your payment posts correctly.
