SUNY Niagara is seeking an accomplished visionary leader to serve as our next Vice President of Academic Affairs (VPAA). As the chief academic officer the VPAA will be an influential force in shaping the academic mission and direction of the college. This pivotal role requires an innovative, collaborative, and strategic leader who will inspire excellence across all academic programs and initiatives, fostering a culture of integrity, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

The VPAA is responsible to the President for all operations related to academic programs, educational policy, academic planning, academic resources, faculty personnel actions, institutional effectiveness and all economic development and continuing education non-credit programs and personnel.

The VPAA will lead with a commitment to empowering faculty, staff, and students to achieve their full potential, ensuring the college’s academic offerings are both rigorous and responsive to the evolving needs of the community, region, and workforce. Required Qualifications:

• Doctoral degree in field or discipline;
• Significant academic administrative experience that must include experience with program development, assessment and experience with the administration or supervision of distance learning courses and workforce development programs;
• Full time teaching experience at the post-secondary level.
