SUNY Niagara Basic Needs Information
SUNY Adds Liaisons for Homeless Students
In a coordinated effort with SUNY, SUNY Niagara has named Robert McKeown as the SUNY Homeless Liaison to help address student housing insecurities. McKeown along with Hannah Barner from the SUNY Niagara Wellness Center, and Christian Salvati from the SUNY Niagara Housing Village will collaborate on this effort to help SUNY Niagara students in need. Expanding access to vital supports for basic needs is particularly relevant to our students. We serve thousands of students each year and many of these students, are first-generation college students, immigrants, parenting students, and from working-class families. SUNY created the Homeless Liaison program to provide students with assistance finding adequate resources and support. Please see the list of resources below for more information or if you would like to schedule a meeting to discuss resources and support, please contact us anytime.
